Satellite Beach Recreation Dept COVID-19 UPDATE:

Satellite Beach Recreation Dept is working towards a soft reopening including programs and classes while following the guidelines set by the Governor of Florida and the CDC as well as recommendations from the National Recreation & Park Association and Florida Parks & Recreation Association. This gradual reopening will include limited classes & summer programs that can adhere to current gathering size and social distancing guidelines. Our office remains closed to the public during this preparation stage. We anticipate being able to offer a limited number of programs beginning June 1.

All programs beginning June 1 and after, will be available for online registration, starting on Monday, May 18 for residents of Satellite Beach. Registration for nonresidents will on begin on Tuesday, May 26. In person registration may be accomplished beginning June 1 during regular office hours of Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.

Please note as we continue to adapt to any changes in COVID-19 guidelines that all programs and registration availability may continue to change. Additional camps and programs may be added as instructors continue to shift their programs to accommodate the new guidelines. Once summer programs are full, it is important that you are placed on a waiting list. If group sizes can increase, some programs and camps will be allowed to add students. The first to be allowed to register will be those on the waiting list.

Program refunds must be requested at least five full business days prior to the start of the class, unless otherwise noted. If you notify the Recreation Department later than five full business days, but before the first day of class, you may receive a partial refund. No refunds will be issued the day of or after the class has begun.
