To sign up using on-line registration, you will need to have a customer account with the Satellite Beach Recreation Department which includes your e-mail address.   (Families having participated in a Satellite Beach Recreation activity since October 2013, will likely already have a customer account).   If you already have an account, click “Sign in” above, then click "forgot your password" and enter your e-mail address (must be the same one the office has on file), as this last action permits you to retrieve your password.  Remember your password for future registration.

If you are a new customer, click “Sign in” above, then click “create a new account”.  Follow the information prompts.

Once your on-line account is set-up, you will use your e-mail address and the password you created to log in to the on-line version of the Satellite Beach Recreation Department Activity Brochure. On-line registration for each program closes at midnight the day before the program is scheduled to begin. Late registration and sign ups may still be available after a program starts, contact the Recreation Office for any available openings, (321) 773-6458.

All credit card transactions will be charged a processing fee that is billed directly to your credit card. The processing fee is 2.5% of the total charge or a minimum of $1.95. Processing fees are non-refundable.

The City of Satellite Beach accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Satellite Beach Recreation Dept Summer Program COVID-19 UPDATE

The Satellite Beach Recreation Dept is working towards a soft reopening including programs and classes while following the guidelines set by the Governor of Florida and the CDC as well as recommendations from the National Recreation & Park Association and Florida Parks & Recreation Association. This gradual reopening will include limited classes & summer programs that can adhere to current gathering size and social distancing guidelines. Our office remains closed to the public during this preparation stage. We anticipate being able to offer a limited number of programs beginning June 1.

All programs beginning June 1 and after, will be available for online registration, starting on Monday, May 18 for residents of Satellite Beach. Registration for nonresidents will on begin on Tuesday, May 26. In person registration may be accomplished beginning June 1 during regular office hours of Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm. Pre-registration is required. No Day Of or Walk Ins will be allowed.

Please note as we continue to adapt to any changes in COVID-19 guidelines that all programs and registration availability may continue to change. Additional camps and programs may be added as we continue to shift programs to accommodate the new guidelines. Once summer programs are full, it is important that you are placed on a waiting list. If group sizes can increase, some programs and camps will be allowed to add students. The first to be allowed to register will be those on the waiting list.

Currently, all Satellite High School facilities remain closed. As a result, we do not have use of their pool and are not able to offer an aquatics program.

Summer Camps

  • All program ratios will adhere to current gathering guidelines. During Phase 1, that ration is 1-9 participants. In Phase 2, the ratio will not be greater than 1-25 participants.
  • Camp & Program Instructors will ensure the 6’ distancing rules. Staff will clean after each group if there is rotation of activities. Staff will have children hand sanitize before entering the facility, after each activity and will have them wash their hands often. Bathrooms and facility will be cleaned multiple times a day.
  • Parents: Parents will drop their kids off like a school car line and pick up the same way. Staff will check temperature of children and staff will ask parents daily questions from passenger side window. No child may walk up by themselves. Details pertaining to each camp drop off will be emailed 1 week prior to camp start.
  • Campers: Campers will be required to follow 6’ guidelines and failure to do so may result in their removal from the camp.  If camper becomes ill during camp, a call will be placed for their immediate pick up. There will be a designated isolation room they will remain in until they are picked up to go home by an authorized person.
